We seek a Tax Manager, Senior Manager, Director or Partner in Real Estate Tax for our client.
We seek a Tax Manager, Senior Manager, Director or Partner in Real Estate Tax for our client, a prestigious CPA firm. Utilizing advanced technical tax skills, the candidate will review tax returns for individuals, trusts, partnerships and corporations tax returns. He or she will assume all responsibility for client tax returns including supervisory of personnel, compliance, tax research, preparation, and monitoring of budgets. Responsible for client relationships and management of multiple engagements. Individual will maintain knowledge of economy, market conditions and political trends that may affect business climate.
Job Requirements:
- Active CPA certification.
- 10+ years experience working in tax with a concentration in real estate partnerships, private developers and investment companies.
- Adept at developing tax strategies for tax planning purposes.
- Ability to apply complex tax concepts to tax compliance issues and review of complex individual and corporate tax returns (Business, S Corp, C Corp, Individual or Trusts) including analyzing information and complex calculating book/tax differences.
- Strong knowledge in issues related to real estate transactions – 1031, 704b and c, 743b, 754.
- Management experience.
- Strong organizational, computer, communication, project management skills.
- Working knowledge of CCH and GoSystem software a plus.
