Senior Manager, Transfer Pricing

Job Description:
International Consulting Organization Seeks Senior Economists for their Canadian Practice. Positions located in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary, Ottawa.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Identifying, tracking and reporting engagement risks, issues, opportunities and change in scope;
- Develop work plans identifying engagement tasks, timing and responsibilities;
- Prepare status reports on deliverables, progress and results;
- Research and consult on transfer pricing matters in a wide range of industries;
- Conduct and manage engagements focusing on:
- compliance and reporting,
- process improvements, and
- risk and controls assessments;
- process improvements, and
- compliance and reporting,
- Participate in business development of the Transfer Pricing practice.
Job Requirements:
- Broad understanding of transfer pricing and valuations theory
- Strong background in applicable IRS Code Sections
- Previous experience servicing clients
- PhD or Master’s Degree in relevant subject area
- Experience dealing with CRA
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in the areas of:
- economics consulting
- transfer pricing planning and compliance
- economics consulting
- 6 - 8 years Big 4 experience
- 5+ years project management experience
- 5+ years experience managing, or coaching staff professionals
- Ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Effective verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Portables are desirable but not mandatory
