Job Description:
Quality Control SEC Audit Partner sought by accounting firm offering quality of life!
Our client seeks an Audit Partner to implement quality control systems and procedures and mentor staff to maintain high audit quality.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and participate in continuing professional education for the audit and accounting section of the practice.
- Implement and monitor the Firm’s system of accounting and auditing quality control.
- Independent report review of certain financial statements that are issued by the Firm.
- Act as a consultant to the other accounting and audit shareholders and mentor accounting and audit staff.
- Coordinate the Firm’s annual peer review and Firm inspections.
- Consultant on audits to help evaluate risk and participate in engagement critical decisions when necessary.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in auditing at a Senior Management level or above.
- Previous experience in implementing and maintaining audit quality control.
- Experience planning and managing SEC client engagements.
- Ability to work within budgetary and time constraints while providing a high-level of client satisfaction.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams.
- Experience in the management and development of a team.
- CPA certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or closely related field.
