Job Description:
Managing Director Tax, from private equity sought by global firm.
Responsibilities:
- Provide tax consulting services for acquisitions and other transaction-related services to private equity clients.
- Prior experience with leveraged buyouts (LBOs), venture capital or growth capital strategies.
- Assessing the tax aspects of large corporate reorganizations.
- Restructuring of transactions for tax issues, due diligence, analyzing potential tax savings/reductions.
- Providing negotiation support assistance and general advisory including acquisitions strategy formulation.
Job Requirements:
- CPA, EA or LLM or JD required
- Significant prior experience with a private equity firm
- Demonstrated prior successful restructuring engagements
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with internal senior executives/partners
- Strong business acumen and organizational skills
- Prior experience interfacing with institutional investors and limited partnerships
