Job Description:
Major International Corporation seeks a senior Credit Analyst to join their Atlanta office.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direction and guidance to Customer Financial Services Team and Carrier Claims group to achieve the Company’s goals relative to Cash Generation, Working Capital and Bad Debt targets.
- Provide functional and technical expertise to the Revenue Analysts, Revenue Team Leaders and Carrier Claims Group.
- Responsible for financial reviews, credit extension, prioritizing and tracking of Finance EDI issues. Scope to include quantitative analysis relative to SAP system enhancements, cash management, deduction prevention, customer financial position and credit risk assessment.
- Prepare customer business review reports to sales organization for key “growth” and “risk” accounts.
- Work with Revenue Team Leaders for the resolution of delinquent receivables.
- Manage account balances and bankruptcy filings on high risk customers.
- Provide regular reporting to Senior Financial Team on credit watch accounts.
- Supervisory responsibility for Accounting Analyst.
Job Requirements:
- B.A./B.S. Degree Required; focus on finance or accounting preferred
- 5 years minimum experience of related Credit and Collections experience and/or training
- CBA or CCE designation
- Must be able to manage and coach
- Handle heavy customer interaction
- Think outside of the box and be innovative
- Resolve important credit issues
- Give supervisors clear and compelling financial recommendations
