Job Description:
International accounting firm seeks Directors and Managers for its International Tax practice.
Responsibilities:
- Focus on all aspects of cross border and international taxation including structural realignment, effective tax rate analysis and improvement of tax efficiencies of cross border flows.
- Provide full services to both inbound investors into the US and US MNCs investing globally.
- Deal with a variety of tax issues for corporate clients ranging from tax planning, restructuring, due diligence, audit defense and research and writing memorandum for companies with presence in multiple taxing jurisdictions and preparing federal tax forms that relate to international operations.
- Advise U.S. and foreign multinational companies on the U.S. and foreign tax implications of their international operations.
- Responsible for coordinating U.S. tax laws with foreign tax laws to obtain an optimal worldwide strategy.
- Network extensively with existing and prospective clients and assume a high degree of responsibility and exposure within the firm.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of BA/BS and Masters in Tax/JD/LLM.
- Strong technical tax background.
- 5+ years experience advising the U.S. and foreign multinational companies on their international tax strategies.
- Previous experience in an international tax practice within a professional services firm, industry, government agency and/or law firm.
- Client service orientation combined with creative problem solving skills; strong written and oral communication skills.
