Job Description:
Leading New York CPA firm seeks Director of Tax Services.
A leading NYC medium sized audit, tax and business advisory firm is seeking an experienced tax professional, CPA, preferably with an MS in Tax, or attorney, with a minimum of 15 years of broad corporate tax experience.
The candidate should have extensive experience in reviewing federal consolidated tax returns, state combined returns and foreign tax credit computations. Proficient in FASB 109 provisions and excel, the candidate will be involved in the review of corporate and partnership tax returns and tax provisions. In addition, the candidate will be involved in federal and state tax examinations, research and writing projects and conducting in-house training seminars.
Job Requirements:
- The candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, research/writing skills and be capable of preparing internal and client memos on various federal and state tax issues.
- CPA, preferably with an MS in Tax, or attorney, with a minimum of 15 years of broad corporate tax experience.
