Job Description:
Large International Accounting Firm seeks a SALT Director to join their New York State and Local Tax Mergers & Acquisitions practice.
The successful candidate will focus on providing technical tax consulting services, transaction structuring issues for tax, due diligence, analyzing potential tax savings/reductions, negotiation support assistance and general advisory including acquisitions strategy formulation and financial modeling and other related project management/analysis. This individual will also be leveraging work to associates and responsible for developing and supervising associates.
Job Requirements:
- BS Minimum.
- Masters in Tax or JD & LLM preferred.
- Must have CPA Certification or Admission to Bar.
- 8-10 years of related experience.
- Strong knowledge of state income tax rules.
- Some knowledge of federal income tax rules.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Prior management and business development experience.
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
- A commitment to exceptional client service.
- A flexible, self-starter possessing intellectual curiosity.
