Job Description:
Global Corporation seeks Director of Tax Accounting. Great in-house opportunity.
The Director of Tax Accounting will manage a team and is responsible for:
- Preparation of local, state and federal tax returns
- Compliance with governmental tax laws
- Preparation of tax refunds
- Research inquiries from government agencies
- Preparation of statistical and financial reports for management
- Overseeing tax audits
- Conducting studies, assisting in potential mergers and acquisitions, other ad hoc projects
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- 7+ years of tax accounting including direct experience with tax laws, tax forms and processing
- Experience with accounting software and databases
- Direct experience in auditing
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
