Successful biotechnology firm seeks a Director of Legal Affairs.
Our client, a successful biotechnology firm located in the New York Metro, seeks a Director of Legal Affairs. In this high profile position, the Director will be responsible for providing legal support to preclinical development, clinical and managed healthcare operations. Supported by a small staff, the Director will review contracts and provide full legal support to client groups. He or she will manage a small team consisting of attorneys, consultants and legal support. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving organization!
Job Requirements:
- J.D.; minimum of 8 years of law experience with at least 4 years in-house in pharma or biotechnology
- Excellent academics and top law firm experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong knowledge in Managed Care, Clinical Development and related regulatory issues.
- Ability to interact at all levels—a -detailed self starter who can handle multiple tasks, strong organizational and prioritization skills.
