Job Description:
Global manufacturing company seeks Controller to oversee the business activities and operations of plants.
The Controller (Director Level) will oversee the business activities and operations of plants located in the U.S. and Mexico.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, year-end consolidated financial statements
- Preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts
- Preparation of reporting packages for corporate headquarters
- Financial analysis, inventory control, account receivables/payables management, expenses
- Preparation of financial information for tax provisions, external financial reports
- Manage audits and ensure compliance
- Participation in special projects, M&A due diligence
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree; CPA; MBA desired
- Financial auditing experience
- Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
- Experience in controlling manufacturing operations preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, consolidation accounting methods/practices
- Ability to collect and analyze complex data and draw logical conclusions
- Knowledge of general corporate finance, taxation
- Ability to communicate with al levels of staff and management
- Project management skills; negotiation skills
