Well known Asset Management Company is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer.
Well known Asset Management business with $20 billion under management is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer. The company is over 40 years old and manages funds for institutional investors and high net worth individuals. It also manages hedge funds and is active in providing investment advisory services to other fund managers.
This position reports to Company CEO and Chairman. The CFO will be responsible for directing all financial functions of the company which includes, but is not limited to, the following: internal controls, annual audits, budgets and forecasting, growth strategy, preparation of financial reports, risk management and compliance. The CFO will be a principle member of the management team and be responsible assisting the establishment of long-range goals, implement policies which will assist the company in achieving those goals, comply with GAAP, SEC and 40 act reporting requirements and other statutory requirements. The Company is planning an upgrade of its accounting systems and the CFO would be responsible for the implementation of the new accounting system and oversee the integration of new accounting software with the Company’s new trading and fund management systems.
Job Requirements:
- Ideal candidates will have 5-10 years experience as a Chief Financial Officer of a large money management business.
- CPA, undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA preferred.
