Compensation: $150k - $200k, plus bonus

Job Description:
Growing real estate firm seeks dynamic individual for Chief Financial Officer position to be responsible for financial management of the company and all associated aspects of operations. Candidate should have excellent business strategy skills as well as prior experience with a privately held company.
Strong familiarity with accounting principles and cost accounting related to real estate and mortgage lending is necessary, and a CPA or equivalent with 10+ years experience in a related role is preferred.
The CFO will manage financial, accounting, treasury and investor relations and assist with next stages of growth. The CFO will also manage all aspects of investments, cash management, banking relationships, and shareholder and investor relations’ communications.
Job Requirements:
- Must have significant mortgage and/or real estate accounting experience
- Must have significant experience and expertise in cost accounting
- Excellent familiarity with GAAP
- 10+ years experience in CFO role
- BS in Accounting or Finance; MBA and/or CPA preferred
- Superior Organization Skills, able to thrive in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and communicate effectively at all levels
- Experience in effectively developing, managing and leading financial departments
- Experience in reporting to state and federal taxing authorities
